Accomplishments

Swoosh
This year my biggest accomplishment was making the basketball team and pulling good grades all year. I guess basketball was important enough for me to finally have something to look forward to. My basketball coach (the greatest coach ever) taught me that I am a lady first a student second, and an athlete third. What that mean to me is I have to act like a lady which means be mature, student, which means that I have to keep my grades so that I can play basketball and work before play, and last but not least is an athlete which means to be physically fit. Also this year had made so many new friends this year on the basketball team we all looked up to each other and I just want to take this time to tell all yall that I wish all of you the best in your future careers, that basically it for my accomplishments I will continue to be a better person through out my years.

Friends

Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost,
whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like a heart that goes

Where would we be in this world

Letter of Thanks

Letter of thanks
I want to thank my band teacher Mr. Tolliver for letting me pursue my dreams by working with materials and equipment, also teaching me the essences of using my time wisely and also encouraging me, and telling me that I can do anything I put my mined to. Thank you for showing me new skills and just working with me and putting up with me even though you don’t feel like it sometimes.
You are one of the best teachers at mariner middle school and I just want to say that you are the awesome person in the whole school as well. I think that you should continue to be a great teacher and just give students the opportunity that you gave me to pursue there dreams. So wants again I just want to thank you so much for being there……..your student Jessi winstead
P.S I think you need to get a new key board because the one you got is kind of old fashion….lol just kidding….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Person i Admire

I Envy You
I admire Maya Angelou because she is very inspirational and very moving in her poems and in her speeches. She has encouraged me to write poems and express myself through my writing. I have written poems like Ignore, The child prays on, and also in his hands which I put my heart into. Maya I think is one of the best poets in the world and is one of the strongest women I heard of. She is powerful beyond measures, and intelligent beyond anyone’s belief that’s why I admire her so much she’s my hero.
Hopefully a would be able to meet her I hope that day comes soon because im the type that doesn’t have much patients so I will keep writing and expressing myself through my words.
